It’s so fun writing about the unique shops in the Montrose Shopping Park. These last few weeks I have focused on some key categories for the holiday season such as Fine Gift Stores, Women’s Clothing, and Shopping For Kids. With close to 200 businesses in the shopping park there are certain stores that are in a class by themselves. This week allow me the pleasure of sharing some unique jewels that would be good for you to visit. There’s only six days ’til Christmas. Perhaps one of these treats is just what you are looking for.

Merle Norman Montrose is celebrating their 20th anniversary and the photo here was taken just for you. It’s a best seller along with flavored cream puffs in vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, pumpkin and eggnog. In the bread department, bread pudding, squaw bread and beer bread are flying off the shelves. To go with that they are now offering homemade soup. After all the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping sometimes it’s nice to slow down and have a cup of Christmas tea. The T Room is featuring its popular seasonal tea called Noel and you can enjoy it as you watch the horse drawn trolley go by. The T Room has had some famous visitors this year including Morgan Freeman and Kathy Hilton. All of us, especially busy people, do well when we take the time to relax, especially in a peaceful, quaint town like Montrose.
