Angeles Crest Highway, the rear passenger window was shattered and a purse containing personal information was stolen from a vehicle as the owner was hiking the area between 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
June 28
2300 block of Del Mar Road in Montrose, several pieces of construction equipment were stolen from a locked vehicle overnight.
2100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a woman reportedly walked up to the checkout counter at a store, placed her cellphone on the counter as she paid for the items and then walked away, leaving her cellphone. Surveillance video showed shortly after the woman left another woman walked to the counter, placed her purse on top of the cellphone, paid for her items and left taking the cellphone.
The woman who was seen taking the phone is described as white, blond hair, between the ages of 60 and 65. The incident occurred at 2 p.m.
June 27
3000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, two men entered a store, walked directly to the cooler containing beer, took two 12 packs of beer and walked out of the store. The first male suspect is described as black, in his 20s, weighing about 180 pounds and at the time of the incident was wearing a white flannel long sleeved shirt, blue jeans and a black and white cap.
The second male suspect was described as Hispanic, in his 20s, 5’10” tall, weighing about 210 pounds and at the time of the incident was wearing a blue T-shirt, gray shorts and a gray cap. He had a mustache and goatee.
The incident occurred at 2 p.m.
June 26
5400 block of Vista Del Arroyo Drive in La Crescenta, a man reported that while he was sitting in his living room he saw eggs being thrown from the street onto his vehicles in his driveway. He ran outside and saw a silver four-door vehicle with three men in the car. The men threw several more eggs at the vehicles parked on his driveway then drove out of view. The vehicles’ paint was damaged by the vandalism that occurred at 12:30 p.m.
June 24
4400 block of Oak Grove in La Cañada, a person/persons apparently jumped over a 12-foot wall, cut the locking mechanism to a gate and stole a tricycle beach cruiser, electric lift, and adult go-kart from La Cañada High School. On June 27 the go-kart was found on the campus.
The initial burglary occurred between June 24 and 27.
June 23
4400 block of Oak Grove Drive in La Cañada, someone stole the ignition box from a company’s all-terrain vehicle that was left on the track and field at La Cañada High School between June 23 and 30.
