Knott’s Berry Farm has breathed new life into Camp Snoopy with a series of cute thematic upgrades and some new attractions designed to delight visitors of all ages. Officially reopening on June 27, the reimagined Camp Snoopy invites families to step into the whimsical world of the Peanuts Gang and join in on the Beagle Scout Jamboree.

The highlight of the new Camp Snoopy is the brand-new family coaster, Snoopy’s Tenderpaw Twister Coaster. This kiddie-coaster offers an exciting yet approachable ride experience making it the perfect introductory coaster for little campers (or those big campers who turn into bigger chickens on rollercoasters). Riders are treated to a double dose of fun as they embark on two trips around the coaster track, up a lift hill and through a mini roller launch, circling a fishing pond and encountering Woodstock and his bird pals along the way.

Another fun little attraction is the newly rethemed Beagle Express, a scenic mini train ride that takes guests through the heart of Camp Snoopy and beneath the towering supports of the roller coaster track of Silver Bullet. Along the way, passengers enjoy charming scenes of Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang preparing for jamboree activities, such as decorating cabins for a “Best Cabin” contest and gearing up for potato sack races. This retheme beautifully captures the essence of summer camp, making it a delightful experience for kids and adults alike.

The theme throughout Camp Snoopy is consistent, weaving together the land decorations and the attractions’ themes in a narrative centered around the Beagle Scout Jamboree. This creates a cohesive and immersive environment, more than a random collection of flat rides with Peanuts names.

However, not all areas are equally impressive. Beagle Scout Acres, intended as a large green space for relaxation and play, currently feels underutilized with its simple picnic tables and plain wooden cabins. While it provides a quiet(ish) spot for families to take a break, it lacks any engaging elements seen elsewhere in the park. Also, the stage that used to occupy the land Beagle Scout Acres now sits upon seemed to be a better use of space.

In addition to the new attractions in Camp Snoopy, the fan-favorite Ghost Town Alive! returns for the summer, bringing the town of Calico to life with an all-new interactive storyline that lets guests become part of the action. This award-winning experience offers new roles, secret missions, characters and adventures for this summer. So even for those who enjoyed Ghost Town Alive! in previous years there are new surprises awaiting. This is a must-see for anyone visiting Knott’s Berry Farm and always one of the favorite offerings of the year.

Riders on the Snoopy’s Tenderpaw Twister Coaster are treated to a peek at Woodstock and some of his bird friends.

As we look forward to a summer filled with exploration and excitement, the new Camp Snoopy will grow even more engaging with additional activities planned for Beagle Scout Acres and the upcoming attraction Sally’s Swing Along, set to open sometime later this year.

Whether riding the Tenderpaw Twister, exploring the Beagle Express, or immersing in the bustling streets of Ghost Town Alive!, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at Knott’s Berry Farm this summer.

So pack your bags, don your Beagle Scout hat, and get ready to embark on a summer adventure like no other. For more details on Camp Snoopy and other exciting attractions, visit Knotts.com.
