Help Needed to Solve Burglary

On Friday, Oct. 20 at approximately 9:26 a.m., a residential burglary occurred in the 4900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in La Crescenta. A witness reported seeing two African-American males wearing black hoodies and gloves enter the residence. Glendale police officers arrived within a few minutes and a perimeter was established. Officers conducted a thorough search of the area and it was determined the suspects fled prior to the officers’ arrival.

The suspect vehicle is described as a maroon 2003-04 Cadillac CTS, collision damage on the front driver’s door, no front plate and a rear paper plate with black and white lettering. The vehicle was driven by a heavyset African-American female.

During the course of the investigation, detectives obtained video surveillance from a residence in the area that captured footage of the suspect vehicle and the female driver.

The same vehicle is believed to have been involved in a residential burglary earlier that morning in La Cañada and additional burglaries on Oct. 17 and Oct. 18 in Orange County.
