‘MARCHES AND METAMORPHOSES’
The Caltech-Occidental Wind Orchestra, directed by Dr. Glenn D. Price, presents “Marches and Metamorphoses – from Paul Hindemith to Wayne Bergeron” on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 3:30 pm. in Thorne Hall at Occidental College.
Featured artist Wayne Bergeron is one of the great jazz, studio and solo musicians of today. Having recorded over 400 TV and film soundtracks, he has also appeared with top international orchestras.

MANAGING THE AGING PROCESS LECTURE SERIES

PARISIAN ROMANCES ON MUSIQUES ROSTER

ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION PLANNED
The community is invited to Glendale’s 68th Arbor Day observance on Tuesday, March 6 at 10 a.m. There will be light refreshments with program at 10:30 a.m. at the Casa Adobe de San Rafael.
This event recognizes those making donations of trees, and donors meeting the deadline will be presented with a certificate. Arbor Day remarks will be made by Stephanie Landregan, who is the director for the Landscape Architecture Program and the Horticulture and Gardening Program at UCLA Extension.
Participate in beautifying the city by donating $50 for a 15-gallon tree or $150 for a specimen tree to be planted in available City of Glendale parks areas. LOCAL YOGA CLASS

This monthly group meets on the third Friday of each month from noon-1 p.m. This group is free and open to the community and will answer all breastfeeding-related questions that new mothers may have.
The Y is also offering a Mindful Parenting Course designed to help parents connect to their children and raise them to thrive. This course is adapted from the work of Dan Siegal, M.D and will focus on reducing daily stress while connecting with your child. The classes meet weekly on Tuesdays. The course is open to all and there is a fee to attend.
