There’s no doubt – Penelope was a very bad chicken. She could not get along with her flock. She was abusive and argumentative. Her owners were going to solve the problem by making Penny into a chicken dinner.
Penelope was given a second chance by Pam Lawler, and Penny now lives happily in Pam’s backyard in a flock of one. Even at 4-years-old, solo Penny still produces about 3 eggs a week.
