On Sunday March 8 at 4 p.m. Le Salon de Musiques – Masters Rediscovered celebrates “La Belle Epoque” with four French masters: Camille Saint-Saens, Maurice Ravel, Reynaldo Hahn and Gabriel Faure.
Introduced by musicologist Dr. Kristi Brown-Montesano, the program for voice, strings and piano will be performed by seven virtuosos: Thomas Michael Allen, tenor, Chiai Tajima, violin, Benjamin Hoffman, violin Johanna Nowik, viola, Eric Byers, cello, Marisa Gupta, piano and Francois Chouchan, piano.
Le Salon de Musiques is a chamber music series performed in an intimate space without any stage or separation between the audience and the artists. Guests feel the purity and quintessence of the music associated with the vibrations of each instrument and the connection to each artist.
A French champagne reception with a high tea buffet catered by Patina follows the performance and the Q&A between the artists and the audience.
Limited seating! Tickets are $45 for students, $95 for regular (includes French champagne and high tea buffet catered by Patina). To purchase tickets, visit LeSalondeMusiques.com or call (310) 498-0257.
Held at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Fifth Floor, 135 N. Grand Ave. in Los Angeles.
