The Tuesday Musicale of Pasadena was founded to promote the knowledge, performance and enjoyment of music by its members and to promote interest in music throughout the Pasadena community.
Tuesday Musicale™ was founded in October 1914 by 23 active women musicians. Their purpose was to perform for each other, to increase the musical knowledge of its members and to promote interest in music throughout the community. The club has since grown to an organization of over 100 members with the same goals as set forth by the founders. More than two-thirds of the members are active performing musicians; the remainder are non-performing music appreciation members.
