The first presentation of the new season of Salon de Musiques takes place on Oct. 6 and is a 10th anniversary celebration. Featured will be Mozart’s “Divertimento” in D Major for String Quartet, Handel’s “Sonata in G minor Op 2” for two violins and piano, Haydn’s String Quartet No. 5 Op 64 in D Major “The Lark” and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor Op 37
(arranged for string quintet).
Performing will be Jessica Guideri and Aubree Oliverson, violins, Rob Brophy, viola, Yoshika Masuda, cello, Peter Lloyd, bass and Vijay Venkatesh, piano.
An informal Q&A with the artists will follow the performance and a gourmet high tea buffet provided by Patina that includes French champagne will be served.
Tickets for the season (nine concerts) are $684 (regularly $855). This is a limited offer as seating is limited. Season tickets include premiere assigned seating for each concert and an exclusive membership to “The Friends of Le Salon de Musiques.” Ticketholders will also be invited to attend two additional concerts at the prestigious Steinway Gallery of Beverly Hills during the season.
