A fun-filled family musical, “Be” is the story of a group of teenagers who come to audition for the role of a lifetime. Will they be able to play the parts that society has pre-determined? Or will they just get to Be? Find out on July 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Alex Theatre.
“Be” will be performed by the ensemble of students participating in Glendale Arts’ Act Out with Alex performing arts training program at the Alex Theatre. Act Out with Alex is a program for students ages 12-17 interested in all aspects of theater including dance, voice, drama, and playwriting.
The original musical is written and directed by award-winning playwright, performer, and director Jennifer Berry with music by Lisa Raggio. Tickets to “Be” are $20 per person and all proceeds go to Act Out with Alex. Tickets can be purchased at www.alextheatre.org
