On Wednesday Sept. 19, the free admission Glendale Noon Concerts will feature the Calico Winds performing Ladder Variations by well-known Los Angeles composer and educator George Heussenstamm and premier a quintet written for them by noted film composer John Scott. The performance takes place at the Sanctuary of Glendale City Church from 12:10 p.m. to 12:40 p.m.
