Second Grader to Sing National Anthem at Youth Night Game

Dana Lee Ryan of Mountain Avenue Elementary School in La Crescenta is scheduled to perform the Star Spangled Banner at Friday night’s varsity basketball game at Crescenta Valley High School. The game begins at 7 p.m.

Mountain Avenue Elementary School second grader Dana Lee Ryan is scheduled to sing the national anthem at the basketball game Friday night, Jan. 7. Dana Lee will be singing before the start of the
CVHS versus Burbank High School basketball game at
7:00 p.m. in the main gym. Dana Lee is a player in the Falcon Youth Basketball League and will be one of many Falcon youth players invited to attend the high school basketball game that evening. The event is sponsored by CVHS boys basketball and CVHS boys basketball boosters.

Dana Lee has been featured in the plays “Annie,” “Guys and Dolls” and is currently working on “The Sound of Music” through La Cañada Jr. Theatre group.
