Clark Plans Open House

On Jan. 21, Clark Magnet High School will be hosting its annual Clark Expo and Open House from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All members of the community are invited to attend the event to tour the campus and learn about Clark’s instructional programs including academic subjects and technical elective pathways. Prospective students in the eighth grade and their families are encouraged to attend.

Visitors will be able to meet and speak with teachers and students while touring the campus’s ultra-modern technology workspaces including engineering, advanced manufacturing, geographic information systems, animation, photography and cinematography labs.

The school’s FIRST Robotics Team 696 will be displaying its previous award-winning robots throughout the campus and hosting robotics and there will be 3D printing demonstrations in room 6302 advanced engineering and manufacturing lab space.

The deadline to submit applications for Clark Magnet for the 2017-18 school year close on Jan. 31. Interested students and families may apply at

An informational meeting for prospective families will be held in the Auditeria building on the Clark Magnet campus at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 21.

Clark Magnet High School is located at 4747 New York Ave. in La Crescenta.
