On Jan. 21, USC Verdugo Hills Hospital hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome two new surgical robots to its operating room. The robots offer a broader range of motion and 3D high-definition visuals for improved clarity and definition during procedures.
The addition of the new robots represents a $4 million investment into the hospital’s surgical program and expands the hospital’s services to include minimally invasive colorectal, thoracic, gynecologic and general surgical procedures. The first patient scheduled with one of the new robots will underwent surgery shortly after the ribbon cutting ceremony.
