At Sunday’s Harvest Market community, youth shared their ideas and business savvy as an Entrepreneur of Tomorrow.

The Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow event was started by Crescenta Valley Town Council President Harry Leon and CV Youth Town Council members. Students had the opportunity to be a vendor and sell their handmade items such as art, jewelry, ceramics or other crafts.

From soaps to greeting cards and posters – and even a novel – the students showed their creativity as they offered a variety of items for sale to those shopping at the Harvest Market.

Matteo L. sold squishies.

The homegrown businesses included C&S Bath that included bath bombs, soaps and scrubs, Matteo’s Shop with squishies and slimes, Wolfie Crafts sold felt plush toys and earrings, Posters by Roan sold motivational posters, Aya Handmade Crochet made crochet toys and LushiDesignz offered greeting cards, prints and more. Also there was author JA Cruz with his book “Paradox” and the philanthropic Crescenta Valley High School Rescue Club.

Leon said he was happy to see this event grow each year and to see how creative the entrepreneurs are with their enterprises.
