Valley View Elementary School held its annual talent show on Thursday, Feb. 9.
Known as “Valley View’s Got Talent!” the show was under the direction of teachers Lisa Jenks, Liz Neskovska and Emily Weller. Students of all grade levels participated and showed off their talents in singing, dancing, telling jokes and playing instruments. Teachers joined in, along with the Principal Dr. Brook Reynolds, to dance in a musical tribute to the Troll’s movie, and to the song, “Can’t Stop the Feeling” by Justin Timberlake.
Students were treated to a daytime performance when the performers held a dress rehearsal in the multi-purpose room. Parents and community members were invited to enjoy the performances at night, following a PTA meeting that honored Lisa Jenks with the Golden Oak Award.
