La Cañada Flintridge Community Center Preschool students are saddling up to host the 24th annual Western Round-Up on Saturday, March 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This popular western-themed fundraiser features fun for all ages: pony rides, a petting zoo, inflatable slide, carnival games and prizes, silent auction, raffle to win an iPad Mini (sponsored by Carey Haynes, Partners Trust), Los Gringos Locos taco carts, a bake sale and much more.

“Not only has the event become a long-standing tradition in the community, but the proceeds are applied directly to our music and gardening programs, as well as other enrichment opportunities for our students,” said Danielle Caputo, the preschool’s director.

The hoedown is at 4469 Chevy Chase Drive, La Cañada Flintridge. Game tickets, meals and silent auction items are available for purchase and bidding right now www.lcfwesternroundup.afrogs.org. Silent auction items include sought-after goodies such as a stay at a Palm Desert vacation home, Sea World and Dodger game tickets, Pasadena Playhouse outings, “pamper” baskets for mom, date nights and more. Tickets and bidding will also be available at the school on event day. Free parking available at Allen Lund, across the street on Foothill.
