The Annual Lincoln Talent Show took place on Wednesday, Jan. 26 during the screen-free week at Lincoln Elementary. Under the direction of first grade teacher Nicolas James, the show was a success with standing room only in the auditorium. The audience was entertained for two hours by amazing talent.

The show opened with the first grade chorus singing patriotic songs and it continued to entertain with dance numbers, singing, stand-up comedy acts, piano, violin, guitar, baton and the world premiere of the fifth graders film “A Letter From Valley Forge.”

The Lincoln Student Council worked diligently behind the scenes as stage crew, masters of ceremony and running the Bake sale that benefitted the ASB fund. The talent show also got tremendous help from the PTA moms who worked hard to make sure the acts were in order and ready to take the stage, and helped run the sound board to ensure everyone’s music was cued and ready to go.

The show ended with the members of the Lincoln Dads Club showering the stage with a confetti downpour as the students took their final curtain call.
