On Saturday, Troop 288 welcomed bridging Webelos Scouts and others interested in Scouting at the American Legion Hall in La Crescenta. Attendees learned more about Troop 288 (which includes boys, girls and Venture Crew) and tried their hand at rope-making, Dutch oven cooking, knot-tying and flag folding and learned about rock climbing, backpacking, merit badges and other Scout activities.
