Lincoln Elementary School held its annual talent show on Feb. 15. It was their biggest show with 37 acts gracing the Lincoln stage. The show was again under the direction of first grade teacher Nicolas James with assistance from parent helper Judith Loeb Whitaker.
Student council members took turns emceeing the show, and sound production, also handled by students, ensured the production ran smoothly. Even the concession stand was run by Lincon students.
There was a wide array of talent exhibited from comedy routines to dance performances. Musical numbers were broad and included piano, harp, guitar, drums, clarinet, violin and even an original composition.
Lincoln singers showcased rap, pop and contemporary favorites.
As in previous years, half of the ticket sales went to a non-profit charity. This year’s charity was “One Love 4 Kids” whose mission is to improve educational, economic, and health outcomes for impoverished children and families.
