About 250 girls and their dads attended the Fremont Elementary School Daddy Daughter Sock Hop earlier this month.

The daddies’ little girls danced to the best of the ’50s music, with a little modern tunes thrown in by DJ Kendall Roberg. Dads and daughters took home a memory they could keep forever thanks to photographer Andy Kitchen.

They dined under the stars with dinner catered by Cha’s Catering and, to top it all off, there for dessert was a loaded ice cream sundae bar.

“It was a big hit,” said Christina Martin, event chair.
