Glendale Unified is hosting its second annual Armenian-American Heritage Month celebration. There will be student performances, panel discussions, speakers and presentations from notable and talented Armenian Americans whose stories, hard work and perseverance have propelled them in their careers.
The celebration is on Saturday, April 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; doors open at 9:45 a.m. It takes place at Hoover High School, 651 Glenwood Road in Glendale.
Guests include GUSD board of education members Shant Sahakian, Ingrid Gunnell, Kathleen Cross, Neda Farid and Telly Tse, GUSD Superintendent Dr. Darneika Watson and filmmaker and broadcast journalist Ani Hovannisian Kevorkian.
