On April 6, the Adelante Latino Awards ceremony was held recognizing outstanding GUSD Latino graduates. The event was held at Glendale High School. New GUSD Superintendent Winfred Roberson attended, as did the GUSD Board of Education. City Manager Scott Ochoa was the keynote speaker and GCC Trustee Anita Quinonez Gabrielian was the mistress of ceremonies. Over 140 students were recognized for academic achievement.
