The parking lot of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was full on April 15 as dozens of hungry churchgoers arrived early for the best selection of bakery goods made by the youth of the La Crescenta ward at 4550 Raymond Ave. Frosted sugar cookies, chocolate bundt cakes, red velvet cakes, breakfast rolls, dinner rolls, banana nut bread, muffins and fudge were available for sale. All goodies were available for donation.

Offered for sale were vouchers for youth services such as babysitting, homemade meals and yard work. For example, two youth available for two hours of yard work would cost $50.

All proceeds support girls camp and boys high adventure activities for La Crescenta ward youth, 14 to 17 years old.
