On Saturday, April 17 Lincoln Elementary sixth graders met with their kindergarten buddies in person for the first time this school year. They met to place their handprints on the Lincoln Wall, a favorite tradition that has gone on for years at the school. Traditionally sixth graders are assigned a “kinder-buddy” at Lincoln with whom they share a good book and work on seasonal art projects throughout the school year. Due to COVID-19 these activities were done virtually this year. Understandable the students were very excited to meet their buddies for the first time and place their handprints on the Wall on Altura Avenue for all to see.
