Salem Lutheran School in Glendale held its annual talent show on Friday, April 26. Highlights of the show included the first grade dancers. The performers were well coordinated as they danced to a difficult choreographed number.
Another noteworthy act was a one of comedy. Presented by one of the students, the act had everyone laughing as the young comedian tackled improvised topics on the spot.
During a break in the festivities, allowing for set-up for the musical program, the parent master of ceremonies reminded the audience that popcorn, candy and raffle tickets were for sale.
After intermission, the musical portion of the program began. Several of the students played the piano, displaying their talent when performing some classical pieces that were enjoyed by all.
All agreed that it was a successful evening. The children had an opportunity to show-off their talents while being cheered by parents and the raffle generated funds for the school.
