Dine-Out Benefits CVIM Foundation
Please mark your calendar and take part in the next Crescenta Valley Instrumental Music Foundation’s dine out fundraiser at Joselito’s (dinner) and Paradis (dessert) in Montrose on Tuesday, May 15 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Show support for the hardworking and talented musicians of CVHS by sharing a night out and not cooking! Simply show a paper or digital version of one of the promotional flyers (online at www.cvweekly.com/YOUTH) at the respective counter. Both locations will generously donate a percentage of all sales to the Crescenta Valley High School Instrumental Music Dept.

Big Win for ComedySportz
The CVHS ComedySportz team won the 2018 SoCal Improv Madness Tournament (the equivalent of a CIF Division championship). There are 70 high school ComedySportz: HSL programs from LA, Orange, and San Diego counties.
About 50 CVHS friends and family members attended the match held in the El Portal Theatre in NoHo, including CV staff members Dorothy Sano, Lynn Parker, Saul Sheridan and Karen Bomar. The team is thankful to them coming out on a Saturday night to support them.
