Tournament of Roses Princess Madison Teodo, who will graduate from La Cañada High School in June, received the Italian Catholic Federation scholarship from Branch 374 President Al Restivo at the May monthly meeting of the organization at St. Bede the Venerable Roman Catholic Church.

Madison, whose ancestors come from Alessandria in Piedmont, Italy, is the daughter of Mark and Claudia Teodo. An involved student at LCHS, she has been a member of the Choral Choir and the Bridge Peer Counseling group. She will be attending Cal Poly University in the fall where she plans to major in liberal studies with a goal of becoming an elementary school teacher specializing in speech pathology. She is a lifelong resident of La Cañada Flintridge and attended St. Bede the Venerable Elementary School. She was selected to serve as a princess on the Tournament of Roses Queens Court this year.

The ICF $400 high school graduate scholarship is awarded annually to a worthy local high school graduate with Italian familial roots and is available to qualifying graduates from any of LCF’s high schools. ICF also awards scholarships to elementary school graduates and gives annual awards for service to students through its newly established Distinguished Student Service Award program.
