On the evening of May 14, the Crescenta Valley High School AFJROTC (CA-882) held its annual 2015 End-of-Year Awards Banquet where 27 of the program’s most outstanding cadets received nationally recognized awards from 18 different organizations. These award recipients are Grace Kim (Air Force Association [AFA] Award), Frederick Stepanian (Order of Daedalians Award), Hyo Jung (Julie) Ha (American Legion Scholastic Excellence Award – Gold Medal), Sung Min (Peter) Shin (American Legion Scholastic Excellence Award – Silver Medal), Kiersten Yoon (American Legion Scholastic Excellence Award – Silver Medal), Jee Yeon Lim (American Legion Scholastic Excellence Award – Bronze Medal), Suh Yeon Lim (American Legion Scholastic Excellence Award – Bronze Medal), Hyun Ok (Helen) Choi (American Legion Military Excellence Award – Gold Medal), Jun Woo Lee (American Legion Military Excellence Award – Silver Medal), David Vega (Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW) Award), Clara Lee (Daughters of the American Revolution [DAR] Award), Su Min Choe (American Veterans (AMVETS) Award), Samuel Park (Reserve Officers Association of America [ROA] Award),

Grace Kim was recognized by Headquarters AFJROTC as recipient of the Distinguished Cadet of the Year Award; Hyun Ok (Helen) Choi, Hyo Jung (Julie) Ha, Grace Kim, Frederick Stepanian, Dylan Asprer and Sharon Sim were also recognized as recipients of the Outstanding Cadet Award for their respective year groups.
