The Assistance League of Flintridge (ALF) drama program invites students in grades three through six to join the ALFie Players production of “Frozen KIDS.” This well-known Disney story includes a beloved cast of characters like Elsa, Anna and Olaf, magical adventures in the land of Arendelle and plenty of humor to thaw the coldest heart.
Assistance League of Flintridge offers this eight-week after-school drama workshop to students in La Cañada Flintridge and the surrounding communities. Rehearsals will culminate in a public performance at Lanterman Auditorium. The ALF drama program is designed for beginners as well as experienced drama performers.
Katelyn Fike will direct this fun adventure, leading students in song and choreography as well as acting and stage techniques. Fike’s many credits include previous ALF productions of “Annie KIDS,” Disney’s “The Lion King KIDS” and “Aladdin KIDS.” She has worked extensively with the local elementary schools and leads the drama classes for ALF summer school. Tristan Waldron and Nancy Abbott also return to round out this dedicated and talented staff.
Rehearsals begin Aug. 15 followed by the performance on Oct. 6 at Lanterman Auditorium, 4491 Cornishon Ave. in La Cañada Flintridge. Online registration opens Monday, July 17 at noon. The cost of $325 includes materials, a T-shirt and cast photo. To register or for more information, visit ALFlintridge.org, email programs@alflintridge.org or call (818) 790-2211.
