Holy Family High School ‘Elevates’ Basement Floor

Holy Family High School College Preparatory will undergo major interior redesign of the school basement floor this summer. Renovations include enhancements to the great room (auditorium), art room, faculty lounge, restroom, kitchen and corridor with reconfigured and/or new interior walls, floors, doors and windows, updated lighting, new paints and finishes. An additional public restroom will be added for employee use and special events.

“This remodel will create a dynamic and attractive multi-purpose space for our current and future students, staff and parish community,” said school principal Dr. Edward Robillard. “The improvements to the great room and art room will particularly benefit our visual and performing arts (VAPA) programs, with built-in display cabinets for student exhibits, state-of-the-art audio/video system, and new stage/theater equipment.”

Pica Sullivan Architects Ltd. is leading the renovation efforts, under the guidance and supervision of Holy Family Parish Pastor Father James Bevacqua.

In addition to the interior upgrades, both school exterior buildings will be painted and a new outdoor sport court will be installed.

Holy Family High School College Preparatory is a Catholic high school founded in 1937 by the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary that serves the educational needs of women in the city of Glendale.
