Boy Scout Troop 317 of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church recently held its Court of Honor at Healy Hall in Montrose to celebrate the rank advancements of their Scouts.

For their dedication and commitment to the ideals of Boy Scouting, Rowan Fitzgerald (Tenderfoot), Ethan Arellano (First Class), Sean Salazar (First Class), Allister Quizon (Star Scout) and David Januzik (Life Scout) were all honored at this ceremony.

Numerous merit badges were also well earned and awarded, including personal fitness and hiking to senior patrol leader Curtis Yun. Fellow Scouts who joined in the celebration were Aedan Molina (Asst. SPL), Alexander Soewers, and Ryan Januzik.

The Troop meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Healy Hall, 2361 Del Mar Road in Montrose.
