Glendale Youth Orchestra Performs at Alex Theatre

The Glendale Youth Orchestra, conducted by Brad Keimach, will be holding auditions for the upcoming 29th season on Sunday, Aug. 20 and Sunday, Aug. 27 with some additional opportunities offered throughout the season. Auditions are required for both prospective and returning members.

Auditions will involve playing an excerpt from the standard orchestral literature and a short solo that demonstrates the level of achievement (no accompanist). Applicants may also be asked to sight-read and play a major or relative harmonic minor scale in any key (up to five sharps or flats).
