Rosemont Students Get Ready for New Year
Kids throughout Crescenta Valley are getting ready to head back to school. At Rosemont Middle School, seventh graders filled the hallways on Aug. 13 for Howdy Day. They received their class schedule and books and purchased their flattering and stylish physical education uniforms.

On Aug. 14, it was the eighth graders’ turn to get their schedules and, of course, stop to talk to all their friends to compare classes. They, too, had the opportunity to purchase their reminder binders and P.E. uniforms.

This year parents were pleased to find the lines not quite as long as in previous years. The majority of the seventh grade class got through their line for books at the library in an hour; the majority of the eighth grade class walked away with books in a little over 30 minutes.

Rosemont will enjoy some new shade provided by solar panels at the top of the amphitheater. Crescenta Valley High School will also benefit from solar panels installed in the teachers’ parking lot.
