Falkon Robotics Upcoming Book Drive:

CVHS Falkon Robotics is having a STEM book donation drive benefiting elementary students in Glendale. Throughout the months of August and September, the community is invited to contribute to this initiative by donating books using the Falkon Robotics Amazon Wish List.

The Amazon Wish List features a diverse selection of books about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), including topics such as early aviation technology and chemistry, designed to increase knowledge and inspire young minds.

Donations will be collected now through Sept. 30 then they will be distributed to Glendale elementary schools by Falkon Robotics.

CVIM Holding Clothing Drive

Crescenta Valley Instrumental Music Dept. is having a clothing drive fundraiser.

It is on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon and Sunday, Aug. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donations accepted of gently used clothes, shoes, accessories and linens. Collection will be at the CV Band parking lot (off Ramsdell Avenue).

Lions to Hold Kases for Kids

On Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the local Lions Club is having its annual Kases for Kids. Collection will be at the Ralphs Marketplace parking lot (in the 2600 block of Foothill Boulevard at Raymond Avenue).
