Crescenta Valley High School parents and students attended Back To School Night on Sept. 17. Parents, their child’s schedule in hand, found out how busy a typical school day was as they rushed from one classroom to another. Teachers explained what will be expected of students in each classroom in the up coming year. Luckily many of the families had powered up at the Prom Plus barbecue and at bake sales sponsored by the CV Korean Parents Association and American Armenian Parent Club.
The night was also an opportunity to join clubs and add names to mailing lists. The Key Club was signing students up, while parents put their name on the e-mail list for the newly formed Teen Awareness organization.
There were also opportunities to buy school T-shirts and sweatshirts and to purchase a yearbook.
