Recently television/online host Brandi Milloy stopped by the Fire House to meet with Prom Plus Club kids. They are planning upcoming events to support teens and their interest. One of the first events planned will bring make-up artists and stylists from the entertainment industry to the Fire House to discuss their careers and to use their expertise to guide teens.

Milloy is a host for an online entertainment program. She shared her inspirational story from a high school geek in a back brace to beauty pageant winner. She was introduced to the nation as a finalist in ABC’s Oprah’s Big Give, which highlighted her philanthropic philosophy.  She has implemented mentoring programs and served as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate).

The Prom Plus Club will be working with Milloy to schedule the first outreach event in January.
