Rummage Sale to Benefit Boy Scouts

On Saturday, Oct. 21, Boy Scout Troop 319 is holding its fourth non-annual rummage sale. It’s the troop’s biggest fundraiser and popular with the community (the last rummage sale raised $4,700 for the troop). They attribute its success to “selling lots of stuff very cheaply.”

The money raised is used to replace the Troop’s well-used camping equipment – tents, stoves, climbing gear, etc.

It’s a very fun event and evidently local garage sale aficionados agree –people start lining up outside the yard before the 7 a.m. opening!

The sale will be at the Tylers’ home at 2408 Los Amigos St. in La Crescenta.

All are encouraged to come out and support the young men of Troop 319.
