Crescenta-Cañada Cooperative Nursery School – CCNS – celebrated Grandparent’s Day on Oct. 8 when CCNS invited the grandparents of their 4- year-old Busy Bears and 3-year-old Darling Ducks to celebrate the day on the school grounds and in the classrooms.

The grandparents enjoyed observing a typical day at preschool, watching their grandchildren enjoy open play, story time, prayer time and snack time.     During art time, grandparents dipped right into paints to help their grandchildren make handprints.

“I cherish my time with you, I will remember them always” was added to each handprint to create a keepsake. Grandparents also posed for a photo with each of their grandchildren and went home with a photo card to commemorate their special day as well.
