The Crescenta Valley Falcons JV football team lost its first League game to the Burbank Bulldogs on Thursday. The Falcons took an early lead on a nice pass and catch from quarterback JJ Runnels to wide receiver Xavier Thompson. After that, though, it was all Burbank as the Bulldogs responded with 30 unanswered points to end the game.
With the loss the JV Falcons fall to 2-1 in the Pacific League. The JV Falcons still control their destiny in League play as they take on the 3-0 Pasadena Bulldogs tomorrow, Friday, at Glendale High School.
