Workshop Helps College-bound Students
On Saturday, Oct. 27 from 10:30 a.m. to noon, La Cañada Presbyterian Church Parent Ed is hosting a workshop for local parents of college bound high school students.

The workshop will focus on little-known ways of getting money for college, regardless of income or student’s grades. The class will include such topics as how to double or triple eligibility for free grant money, secrets to sending a child to a private or UC school for less than the cost of a junior college, and the single biggest mistake parents make when planning for college.

The workshop will be taught by Brian Safdari, the nation’s leading expert on college planning and a continuous guest on various TV and radio stations.

Seating is free, but limited by the size of the room. To reserve a seat, call (661) 295-9946 or visit www.CollegePlanningExperts.com and click on the workshop tab.
