The Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy basketball players teamed up to beat breast cancer by holding a bake sale which raised over  $750 for breast cancer research. The girls sold homemade cookies, cakes and brownies. The team attended the Dig Pink cancer awareness volleyball game between FSHA and Harvard Westlake  on Oct. 20 and donated  the funds to the Side-Out Foundation. The desserts not sold were donated to the Union Station Mission’s family center.
