Monte Vista Elementary School Foundation announced in mid-October that it raised $44,080 through its $1 Dollar a Day Campaign. The Foundation asked Monte Vista families to contribute $1 per school day for a total donation of $180 per student. The goal is 100% participation.

Monte Vista Foundation’s campaign goal is to raise $100,000 to provide resources to fund projects not supported by tax dollars including purchasing equipment, programs, staff, technology and facilities necessary to promote educational development of the students at Monte Vista.

The Monte Vista Foundation is a non-profit organization led by volunteers dedicated to support the needs of the students, staff and school. Funds are still being collected. Donations can be sent to Monte Vista Foundation $1 Dollar a Day Campaign, 2620 Orange Ave., La Crescenta, CA 91214.

The Monte Vista School Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and donations are tax deductible.
