Monte Vista and Valley View elementary schools observed Red Ribbon week in October in a variety of ways.

At Monte Vista, teachers and students “gave a boot to drugs” by wearing Western attire. Monte Vista PTA facilitated a variety of other activities including crazy sock day and spirit day.

At Valley View, students wore red and even the school staff donned kooky outfits.
