Kindergartner Charlee Hartung at Fremont Elementary School “freezes” during the dance party held on Friday.

Students at Fremont Elementary School celebrated the success of the school’s annual campaign by dancing on the campus hardscape on Friday. Principal Christin Molano made good on her promise of working from the rooftop if the students reached their goals.

Kindergartner Charlee Hartung thought seeing Principal Molano on the roof was “funny.”

“I think she looks funny up there,” said Charlee before joining her friends to dance.

The school reached record-breaking levels of those who participated with 53% of Fremont families contributing for a total of $47,909 pledged.
