Foothill Municipal Water District announced the selection of artwork by two local students for inclusion in an upcoming 2018 calendar centered on the theme Water Is Life.
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD) sponsored the Water Is Life calendar that features artwork from only 36 students. As part of the honor, the artwork will also be displayed in a traveling art show, published on MWD outreach materials, and will appear on the MWD’s website.
The local artists receiving recognition are Rachel Hwang, ninth grade, La Cañada High School, and Vivienne Norris, fourth grade, Crestview Prep.
