On Nov. 6, families and friends of Chamlian Armenian School participated in the annual Armenian Cultural Day festival on the school campus. The festivities included student performances, food, shopping and entertainment.
The all-day event highlighted the school’s commitment to the preservation and promotion of the Armenian culture and heritage. Students, parents, and extended family members enjoyed exciting carnival-like activities and events.
Chamlian’s Armenian Department teachers worked diligently to prepare their students for their performances, which included singing, dancing, recitation, short plays and a performance by the school choir. In addition to the performances, the first grade students made an impression when they filled the stage dressed in traditional Armenian costumes representing the various regions in Armenia.
