The eighth grade students at Holy Redeemer Middle School held a Thanksgiving luncheon for the seniors of the Pioneer Club. The Pioneers meet regularly in the hall at Holy Redeemer for a meal, bingo and fellowship. The students, with a spirit of giving back, helped to prepare a full Thanksgiving meal for the group. Each student worked with their parents to cook and bring in items for the buffet. Parents volunteered to help in the kitchen while the students set the tables and decorated the hall with a festive fall theme.

The students helped serve each club member and offered assistance through the buffet line. They brought their guests drinks, helped with second servings and cleared plates.

The men and women were thankful for the eighth graders and their hard work. After all the guests were settled and enjoying their dessert, the students filled a plate for themselves, then joined the Pioneers for good food and conversation.
