CVHS Comedy Sportz

The next Comedy Sportz match is Friday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. at Crescenta Valley High School Underground Theatre. This is La Crescenta’s longest running show – since 2002! Come for family-friendly, clean improv comedy.

Tickets are $10 adults, $5 for students.

Underground Theater is located at 2900 Community Ave. in La Crescenta.

Winter Concert

The jazz band, symphony orchestra, string orchestra, wind ensemble and the marching band will be performing festive, holiday favorites at this year’s winter concert on Friday, Dec. 11. The festivities begin at 7 p.m. in MacDonald Auditorium in the 4400 block of Ramsdell Avenue. Tickets are $8 for adults; $5 for students.

Dine-out Nights

A dine-out night benefitting Valley View Elementary School Talon singers is being held on Wednesday, Dec. 16 at Los Gringos Locos. Bring the flyer (available online at www.cvweekly.com/YOUTH or by contacting the elementary school) to make sure that the group gets credit for your purchases. Fifteen percent of all sales will go to support the Valley View Elementary School choral program.

The Talon singers will be caroling from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Los Gringos, 631 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada.

A dine-out night benefiting CVHS instrumental music is being held on Monday, Dec. 14 at New Moon restaurant, 2138 Verdugo Blvd. in Montrose. CVIM will receive 15% back from orders. Applies to dine in and take out orders; does not apply to deliveries.

CVYTC Seeks Talent

The CV Youth Town Council is seeking talented acts to perform at the annual holiday talent show for senior citizens at Oak Park Healthcare Center on Dec. 12 at noon.

‘Cyrano De Bergerac’ at CVHS

The French classic, “Cyrano De Bergerac” will be presented by the Crescenta Valley High School theatre arts department today, Thursday, Dec. 10 and Saturday, Dec. 12 at 7p.m. and Friday, Dec. 11 at 4 p.m. in the school’s Underground Theater at 2900 Community Ave. in La Crescenta.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students.
