Valley View concluded its yearly Campaign for Excellence: Mission Possible by giving the class that raised the most donations the opportunity to throw water balloons at principal Dr. Brook Reynolds.

Kathryn Gonzalez’s first grade class won the challenge. Prior to the school’s Halloween parade, Principal Reynolds stood by the handball wall and dodged the balloons as water exploded around him.

The money raised from the campaign went toward the Foundation’s goal of $50,000 to buy new computers for the computer lab/Media Center. The fundraising will include a Gratitude Gala on Saturday, Nov. 12 at the La Cañada Country Club. This night will give the Foundation members an opportunity to show their appreciation to all the families who contributed to the campaign and who have supported and attended Foundation events.
